The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
