And recite to them the tiding of Abraham 69 When he said to his father and his people, “What do you worship?” 70 They answered: "There are some idols that we worship and are devoted to them with constancy." 71 He said, 'Do they hear you when you call, 72 or do they cause you any benefit or harm?" 73 They replied, "But we found our fathers doing the same." 74 Abraham said, "Have you really thought about what you have been worshipping, 75 you and your forefathers -- 76 They are all enemies to me; all, except the Lord of the Universe 77 Who created me, and He doth guide me, 78 And Who feedeth me and watereth me. 79 and, whenever I am sick, heals me, 80 He who will cause me to die and bring me back to life; 81 And He Who, I long, shall forgive me my faults, on the Day of Requital. 82 "O my Sustainer! Endow me with the ability to judge [between right and wrong,] and make me one with the righteous, 83 "Grant me honourable mention on the tongue of truth among the latest (generations); 84 “And make me among the inheritors of the Gardens of serenity.” 85 Forgive me and my father: He was surely among those who went astray. 86 And disgrace me not on the day when they are raised 87 the day when neither wealth nor sons shall profit 88 except what is done in obedience to God with a submissive heart. 89 Paradise will be brought near those who take heed for themselves and follow the straight path; 90 "And to those straying in Evil, the Fire will be placed in full view; 91 who will be asked, "What did you worship 92 "'Besides Allah? Can they help you or help themselves?' 93 So they shall be thrown down into it, they and the erring ones, 94 And the hosts of Iblis, together. 95 They will dispute between themselves therein, and will say, 96 'By God, we were certainly in manifest error 97 When we made you equal with the Lord of the Worlds. 98 It was naught but the sinners that led us astray; 99 “So now we do not have any intercessors.” (The believers shall have intercessors, the disbelievers none). 100 And not a devoted friend. 101 “So if only were we to go back, in order to become Muslims!” 102 Verily herein is a sign, but most of them are not believers. 103 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 104

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
