Al-Najm 3 of 3
Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 and gives a little, and then grudgingly? 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 None except Allah can avert it. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
