The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
I swear by the mansions of the stars, 1 And [by] the promised Day 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel, 5 When they sat by it 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and believing women, and then do not repent, will surely suffer the punishment of Hell, and the torment of burning. 10 (But) for those who believe and do good works, for them there are Gardens underneath which rivers flow that is the Great Victory! 11 Surely the might of your Lord is great. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 and He is the Forgiving and Loving One. 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 Executor of His own will. 16 Has the story of the hordes 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)! 19 And Allah encompasses them on every side. 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate. 22
