Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Have you seen he who belied the Recompense? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 and who does not urge the feeding of the poor? 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 and, withal, deny all assistance [to their fellow-men]! 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
