The Companions of the Rocky Tract also rejected the messengers: 80 We showed them miracles but they ignored them. 81 They carved out dwellings in the mountains, and lived in security -- 82 But the Shout seized them in the morning, 83 And that which they were wont to count as gain availed them not. 84 And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness. 85 Your Lord is the Creator, the Knower. 86 And indeed We have given you seven verses that are repeated, and the great Qur’an. 87 So covet not things We have bestowed on a portion of them to enjoy, and do not grieve for them, and protect those who believe; 88 And say: "I am indeed he that warneth openly and without ambiguity,"- 89 Just as We had revealed [scriptures] to the separators 90 who have broken the Koran into fragments. 91 by your Lord, We shall question them all 92 for what they have done 93 Therefore expound openly what thou art commanded, and turn away from those who join false gods with Allah. 94 Verily We will suffice unto thee against the mockers. 95 Those who adopt, with Allah, another god: but soon will they come to know. 96 And well do We know that thy bosom is constricted by the [blasphemous] things that they say: 97 So glorify the praises of your Lord and be of those who prostrate themselves (to Him). 98 And worship thy Lord until there cometh unto thee the certainty. 99
