It is He who produced for you hearing, and eyes, and hearts; little thanks you show. 78 And it is He Who has created you on the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered back. 79 It is He Who gives life and causes death, and He holds mastery over the alternation of night and day. Do you not understand this? 80 Rather, they say like what the former peoples said. 81 They say, “Will we, when we die and turn into dust and bones, be raised again?” 82 Indeed, this [very thing] we have been promised - we and our forefathers - long ago! This is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 Thereupon they will say, “To Allah”; proclaim, “Therefore why do you not ponder?” 85 Say: Who is Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the Tremendous Throne? 86 They will surely say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not, then, fear (Allah)?" 87 Say "In Whose Hand is the sovereignty of everything (i.e. treasures of each and everything)? And He protects (all), while against Whom there is no protector, (i.e. if Allah saves anyone none can punish or harm him, and if Allah punishes or harms anyone none can save him), if you know." [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 12, Page 145] 88 They will say: "God's." Say: "Then why are you so deluded?" 89 Nay! We have brought to them the truth, and most surely they are liars. 90 God has not taken to Himself any son, nor is there any god with Him; for then each god would have taken off that he created and some of them would have risen up over others; glory to be God, beyond that they describe, 91 He has the knowledge of all seen and unseen things. He is too exalted to be considered equal to anything else. 92
