And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
