Q (Qaaf)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By Qaf and the glorious Quran, (you are the Messenger of God). 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing. 2 "When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be resurrected?) That is a far return." 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them; with Us is a book recording. 4 But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a state of confusion. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them, how We have made it and adorned it, and there are no rifts in it? 6 And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)- 7 A perception and an understanding, for every bondman who inclines. 8 and We have sent down from the sky blessed water with which We have brought forth gardens and grain to be harvested, 9 and tall palm-trees with spathes compact, 10 all this as sustenance for Our servants. And thus We do bring the dead land back to life with water. Such shall be the coming forth (of human beings from the earth). 11 The folk of Noah denied (the truth) before them, and (so did) the dwellers at Ar-Rass and (the tribe of) Thamud, 12 And 'Ad, and Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and the brethren of Lout (Lot), 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the people of Tubba; each one belied the apostles, wherefore fulfilled was My judgement. 14 So did We tire by creating the first time? Rather they doubt being created again. 15
