The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 (Muhammad), your Lord has not abandoned you (by not sending you His revelation), nor is He displeased with you. 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Therefore, be not harsh with the orphan; 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11
