The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter. 1 Who accumulated wealth and hoarded it, counting. 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 Nay, he shall be thrown into the Crusher. 4 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Consuming One is! 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 Which penetrates the hearts 7 Verily it will close in upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
