I do not need to swear by what you see 38 And what ye see not, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 (This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 if he had invented any lies about Us, 44 We would have definitely taken revenge from him. 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. 47 And verily it is an admonition unto the God-fearing. 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 And most surely it is the true certainty 51 Extol, then the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 52
