۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
