۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
