And heaven – We made it with Our Own Power and We have the Power to do so. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 and do not set up any deity with Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Similarly, no Messenger came to those before them but they said: 'Sorcerer, or mad' 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 And verily, they who are bent on doing evil shall have their share [of evil] like unto the share of their fellows [of old]: so let them not ask Me to hasten [their doom]! 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
