Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are you more difficult to create, or is the heaven that He constructed? 27 He raised the height thereof and ordered it; 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 And afterwards spread out the earth. 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 Then he who had been rebellious 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 But he who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained his self from vain desires, 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 Unto thy Lord is the final end of it. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
