The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful 1

All praise unto Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. 2 The Most Gracious, the Dispenser of Grace, 3 Master of the Day of Judgment. 4 Thee (alone) we worship; Thee (alone) we ask for help. 5 Guide us to the Straight Path, 6 The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
