۞ And Allah has proclaimed, “Do not ascribe two Gods; indeed He is the only One God; therefore fear Me alone.” 51 And to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and to Him is [due] worship constantly. Then is it other than Allah that you fear? 52 And whatever of blessings and good things you have, it is from Allah. Then, when harm touches you, unto Him you cry aloud for help. 53 Then, when He removes the affliction from you, lo, a party of you assign associates to their Lord, 54 that they may show ingratitude for what We gave them. So, take your pleasure, you shall soon know. 55 And they appoint for that which they knew not a portion of that wherewith We have provided them. By Allah! ye will surely be questioned regarding that which ye have been fabricating. 56 They attribute daughters to God, the glorious, but for themselves whatsoever they please. 57 And when one of them is informed of [the birth of] a female, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief. 58 He hides himself from the people because of the ill of which he has been informed. Should he keep it in humiliation or bury it in the ground? Unquestionably, evil is what they decide. 59 For those who do not believe in the Hereafter is the description of evil; and for Allah is the highest attribute. And He is Exalted in Might, the Wise. 60
