Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Have you considered him who calls the judgment a lie? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the poor, 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 As are of their prayer careless. 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
