Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 but you have turned away from it. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 When your Lord said to the angels; Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust: 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 all the angel then prostrated themselves 73 But not Iblis: he was proud and he was one of the unbelievers. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 Said Iblis, “I am better than him; You made me from fire, and You have created him from clay!” 76 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
