Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Hast thou received the story of the Enveloper? 1 Many a face will be disgraced on that day. 2 Travailing, worn. 3 Burning in the scorching fire, 4 Drinking from a boiling spring, 5 No food shall be theirs save bitter thorn, 6 Which shall neither nourish nor avail against hunger. 7 Many a face will be in serenity on that day. 8 well pleased with the result of their striving, 9 They will be in a lofty Garden 10 where they will hear no idle talk. 11 Therein shall be a spring running! 12 In which are high thrones. 13 and goblets set forth 14 And cushions set in rows, 15 And carpets spread out. 16 Do they never reflect on the camels and how they were created, 17 And the heaven – how it has been raised? 18 how the mountains were hoisted, 19 And the earth – how it has been spread out? 20 Therefore do thou give admonition, for thou art one to admonish. 21 You are not over them a controller. 22 However, he who turns away and disbelieves - 23 Then Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment. 24 To Us they will all return. 25 Then it will be for Us to call them to account. 26

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
