▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 right before your very eyes? 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
