Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 Then do not, O Lord, put me among the sinners." 94 [Pray thus] for, behold, We are most certainly able to let thee witness [the fulfillment, even in this world, of] whatever We promise them! 95 [But whatever they may say or do,] repel the evil [which they commit] with something that is better: We are fully aware of what they attribute [to Us]. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98 (They shall persist in their deeds) until when death comes to anyone of them he will say: "My Lord, send me back to the world 99 Haply I may do good in that which I have left. By no means! it is a (mere) word that he speaks; and before them is a barrier until the day they are raised. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 Then, those whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, - these, they are the successful. 102 But those whose scales weigh light will have ruined their souls; in Hell will they abide. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 They will say: "our Lord! Our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we became a people astray! 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 'Slink you into it,' He shall say, 'and do not speak to Me. 108 There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' 109 But you took them for a laughing-stock, till they made you forget My remembrance, mocking at them. 110 "I have rewarded them this Day for their patience and constancy: they are indeed the ones that have achieved Bliss..." 111 He will say: How long tarried ye in the earth, counting by years? 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account." 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 Did you, then, think that We created you in mere idle play, and that you would not have to return to Us?" 115 So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 Whoever worships another god apart from God, for which he holds no proof, will have to account for it before his Lord. Verily the unbelievers will not prosper. 117 Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful." 118
