Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He hath raised the height thereof and perfected it. 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 Those who have rebelled 37 and preferred the present life, 38 Then surely the hell, that is the abode. 39 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, 40 Lo! the Garden will be his home. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46
True are the words of God the Almighty.
