Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Nay, I swear by the Day of Resurrection; 1 And I call the reprehensive soul to witness: 2 Does man (a disbeliever) think that We shall not assemble his bones? 3 Indeed, We have the power to restore his very finger tips! 4 Nay, but man desires to continue on as a libertine, 5 He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection?" 6 But [on that Day,] when the eyesight is by fear confounded, 7 and the moon is darkened, 8 when the sun and the moon are brought together, 9 On that Day shall man say: whither is the fleeing. 10 By no means! No place of safety! 11 The only place of refuge will be with God. 12 On that day, man will be informed of all what he sent ahead and left behind. 13 Nay! man is evidence against himself, 14 in spite of all the excuses he may offer. 15 Move not thy tongue therewith that thou mayest hasten therewith. 16 It is for Us to collect it and to give you (O Muhammad SAW) the ability to recite it (the Quran), 17 When We recite it, follow its recitation. 18 We shall be responsible for its explanation. 19 None except you, O disbelievers – you love what you have, the fleeting one. 20 and neglect the life to come. 21 Upon that day faces shall be radiant, 22 Looking at their Lord. 23 and some faces will on that Day be overcast with despair, 24 dreading some great affliction. 25 But, when (the soul) reaches the collar bone 26 And it is cried. who can charm? 27 He will then realise it is the parting, 28 and leg is intertwined with leg, 29 On that Day you will be driven to your Lord. 30
