۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
