Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Have We not expanded for you your breast, 1 and relieve you of the burden 2 that weighed so heavily on your back, and 3 Did We not exalt thy fame? 4 So truly with hardship comes ease, 5 truly with hardship comes ease.' 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 And make your Lord your exclusive object. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
