The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 Because your Lord has inspired it. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
