Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. 18 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every thing justly weighed, 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 And surely your Lord will gather them together; surely He is Wise, Knowing. 25
