Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
I swear by Ya Sin 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 Verily thou art of the sent ones, 3 upon the straight path. 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. 7 We will certainly put iron collars on their heel's which will come up to their chins, so that they will not be able to raise their heads. 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 Alike it is to them whether thou hast warned them or thou hast not warned them, they do not believe. 10 You warn only him who follows the advice and fears the Most Gracious without seeing; therefore give him glad tidings of forgiveness and an honourable reward. 11 Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces [their footsteps and walking on the earth with their legs to the mosques for the five compulsory congregational prayers, Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) and all other good and evil they did, and that which they leave behind], and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book. 12
