THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and at night.
