Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 And that it is He Who has created the two pairs, male and female? 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius. 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 He plunged the villages 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
