Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
