As the caravan departed, their father said: 'I smell the scent of Joseph, unless you think I am foolish' 94 They said: "By Allah! Certainly, you are in your old error." 95 Then, when the bearer of glad tidings came, he laid it on his face and he became a seer once more. He said: Said I not unto you that I know from Allah that which ye know not? 96 They said: "Father! Pray for the forgiveness of our sins; we were truly guilty." 97 He said, "I will ask forgiveness for you from my Lord. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful." 98 When they all came to Joseph, he welcomed his parents and said, "Enter the town in peace, if God wants it to be so." 99 And he raised his parents upon the throne and they fell down in prostration before him, and he said: O my father! this is the significance of my vision of old; my Lord has indeed made it to be true; and He was indeed kind to me when He brought me forth from the prison and brought you from the desert after the Shaitan had sown dissensions between me and my brothers, surely my Lord is benignant to whom He pleases; surely He is the Knowing, the Wise. 100 ۞ "My Lord! You have indeed bestowed on me of the sovereignty, and taught me the interpretation of dreams; The (only) Creator of the heavens and the earth! You are my Wali (Protector, Helper, Supporter, Guardian, etc.) in this world and in the Hereafter, cause me to die as a Muslim (the one submitting to Your Will), and join me with the righteous." 101 This is of the tidings of the unseen, which We reveal unto thee; nor wast thou with them when they resolved on their affair while they were plotting. 102 Yet most men will not become believers, no matter how eager you may be. 103 And thou askest them not any hire therefor; it is but an admonition unto the worlds. 104
