Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. 16 And We have guarded it from every outcast devil, 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. 19 And We have provided sustenance for you on it and also for those of whom you are not the providers. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 We send rain-impregnated winds, and water from the sky which you drink, but you are not the keepers of its store. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. 25
