[Allah said], "O messengers, eat from the good foods and work righteousness. Indeed, I, of what you do, am Knowing. 51 Verily this your order is one order, and I am your Lord, so fear Me. 52 But they split in their affair between them into sects, each party rejoicing in what is with them. 53 So leave them in their error till a time. 54 Do they think that We enlarge them in wealth and children, 55 We hasten unto them with good things (in this worldly life so that they will have no share of good things in the Hereafter)? Nay, but they perceive not. 56 Verily those who for fear of their Lord are in awe. 57 And those who believe in the signs of their Lord – 58 Those who join not (in worship) partners with their Lord; 59 who give what they give, with their hearts quaking, that they will return to their Lord: 60 Are the ones who hasten to goodness and outpace the others. 61 We charge no soul with more than it can bear. We have a Book with Us which speaks the truth, and they shall not be wronged. 62 But their hearts are in confused ignorance of this; and there are, besides that, deeds of theirs, which they will (continue) to do,- 63 Until, when We seize in Punishment those of them who received the good things of this world, behold, they will groan in supplication! 64 “Do not implore this day; you will not be helped by Us.” 65 “My verses were recited to you, so you used to turn back on your heels.” 66 In pride (they Quraish pagans and polytheists of Makkah used to feel proud that they are the dwellers of Makkah sanctuary Haram), talking evil about it (the Quran) by night. 67 Pondered they not over the Word? or came there unto them that which came not unto their fathers ancient? 68 Or is it that they did not recognise their Noble Messenger, therefore they consider him alien? 69 Or, say they: in him is madness? O Aye he brought them the truth, and most of them to the truth are averse. 70 And had the Truth followed their desires, then indeed the heavens and the earth and all those who are in them would be destroyed; in fact We brought to them a thing in which lay their repute, so they are turned away from their own repute. 71 Or, do you ask a tribute from them? Your Lord's tribute is better. He is the Best of providers. 72 You are surely calling them to the right path. 73 But those who believe not in the Hereafter turn away from the straight path. 74 ۞ If We took compassion on them and removed the affliction they are in, they would only wander lost in confusion. 75 And indeed We grasped them with punishment, so neither did they submit themselves to their Lord, nor do they cry humbly. 76 So that when at last We open up the gate of severe punishment on them they will be overwhelmed with despair. 77
