Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 Then do not, O Lord, put me among the sinners." 94 And verily to shew them that wherewith We threaten them We are surely Able. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And say: "My Lord! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings (suggestions) of the Shayatin (devils). 97 “And my Lord, (I seek) Your refuge from their coming to me.” 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 so that I might act righteously in whatever I have failed [aforetime]!" Nay, it is indeed but a [meaningless] word that he utters: for behind those [who leave the world] there is a barrier [of death] until the Day when all will be raised from the dead! 100 When the trumpet is blown, on that Day there will be no ties of relationship between them; neither will they ask about one another: 101 And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 Their faces will be scorched by flames, and they will grin and scowl within it. 104 Have not My revelations been rehearsed unto you, and them ye have been belying? 105 They will answer, "Lord, misfortune overcame us and we became an erring people. 106 O our Lord! take us forth from it; then if we return, we shall be wrong-doers indeed. 107 He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. 108 You are those that when a party of My servants said: 'Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful,' 109 you made a laughingstock of them and your hostility to them caused you to forget Me, and you simply kept laughing. 110 Verily I have recompensed them today, for they bore patiently, verily they are the achievers. 111 Then Allah will ask them: "For how many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 Did you, then, think that We created you in mere idle play, and that you would not have to return to Us?" 115 So Exalted be Allah, the True King, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne! 116 And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for Thou art the best of the merciful.' 118
