۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 They are always harassing us. 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
