The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I CALL TO witness those who stand arrayed in rows, 1 and the drivers driving, 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 Verily your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun! 5 Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets; 6 a protection against every rebel satan; 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly and they are thrown at from every side, 8 And kept far away. There is perpetual punishment for them, 9 Except him who snatches off but once, then there follows him a brightly shining flame. 10 So ask them, are they stronger in constitution, or those whom We have created. We have created them of sticky clay. 11 No wonder you are surprised as they laugh with scorn. 12 and when they are reminded [of the truth,] they refuse to take it to heart; 13 And whenever they see a sign, they mock at it. 14 and say: "This is clearly nothing but [a mortal's] spellbinding eloquence! 15 “When we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, will we certainly be raised again?” 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 Say: "Yea, indeed - and most abject will you then be!" 18 It shall be but one shout, lo! they shall be staring. 19 And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment. 20 This is the day of the judgment which you called a lie. 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
