Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them, the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.” 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 from which you are turning away. 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 I have only received revelation to give you plain warning. 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 “So when I have perfected him and breathed into him a spirit from Myself, (you all) fall down before him in prostration.” 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He said: I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fire, and him Thou didst create of dust. 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say - 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 and you will most certainly grasp its purport after a lapse of time!" 88
