Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER the winds that scatter the dust far and wide, 1 then the bearers of weight (the clouds), 2 Then by oath of those which move with ease. 3 and distributing the command of God at His behest! 4 Verily that which ye are promised is true; 5 And indeed, the recompense is to occur. 6 By the beautiful heavens, 7 You are surely caught in contradictions., 8 Only those who are destined to revert, are reverted from it. 9 Doomed are the conjecturers 10 Who are careless in an abyss! 11 'When will the Day of Judgement be' they ask. 12 It will be the Day when they shall be scourged by the Fire 13 [And will be told], "Taste your torment. This is that for which you were impatient." 14 As for the God-fearing, they shall be in the midst of gardens and fountains, 15 receiving what their Lord will give them because before this they were gooddoers. 16 sleeping little in the night-time, 17 And in the morning they asked forgiveness. 18 and sharing their possessions with the beggars and the deprived. 19 And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith] 20 And in yourselves. Then will you not see? 21 And in the heaven is your provision, and that which you are promised. 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech. 23

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
