Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Those who disbelieved – be they from the People of the Book or from those who associated others with Allah in His Divinity – will not desist from unbelief until the Clear Proof should come to them; 1 An messenger from Allah, rehearsing scriptures kept pure and holy: 2 therein true Books. 3 The people of the Book were not divided among themselves till after the clear proof had come to them. 4 They were commanded only to serve God, making the religion His sincerely, men of pure faith, and to perform the prayer, and pay the alms -- that is the religion of the True. 5 Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islam, the Quran and Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikun will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures. 6 The righteously striving believers are the best of all creatures. 7 Their reward with Allah will be gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allah being pleased with them and they with Him. That is for whoever has feared his Lord. 8
