Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you 1 Until ye come to the graves. 2 Nay, you will soon come to know; 3 Again, Nay! You shall come to know! 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 For ye will behold hell-fire. 6 In the end you will indeed, most surely, behold it with the eye of certainty: 7 Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned regarding the favours. 8

Almighty God's Truth.
