And (remember) when Musa (Moses) said to his boy-servant: "I will not give up (travelling) until I reach the junction of the two seas or (until) I spend years and years in travelling." 60 But when they reached the junction between them, they forgot their fish, and it took its course into the sea, slipping away. 61 So when they had passed beyond it, [Moses] said to his boy, "Bring us our morning meal. We have certainly suffered in this, our journey, [much] fatigue." 62 He said: "You see, I forgot the fish on the rock where we had stopped. Only Satan made me forget to mention this; but the wonder is the fish escaped to the sea." 63 [Musa (Moses)] said: "That is what we have been seeking." So they went back retracing their footsteps. 64 And they found a servant from among Our servants to whom we had given mercy from us and had taught him from Us a [certain] knowledge. 65 Musa said to him: Shall I follow you on condition that you should teach me right knowledge of what you have been taught? 66 He (Khidr) said: "Verily! You will not be able to have patience with me! 67 And how can you have patience for what you do not encompass in knowledge?" 68 Moses said, "If God wishes, you will find me patient and I shall not disobey any of your orders." 69 "If you must follow me," he said, "do not ask me any thing until I speak of it to you myself." 70
