Said Moosa, “My Lord, open up my breast for me.” 25 and ease my task for me. 26 And untie the knot from my tongue 27 “In order that they may understand my speech.” 28 And give to me an aider from my family: 29 “That is Haroon, my brother.” 30 to support me. 31 “And make him a partner in my task.” 32 So that we should glorify Thee much, 33 and remember You much: 34 You are surely seeing us' 35 Allah said: "You are granted your request, O Musa (Moses)! 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on thee another time (before). 37 Recall, when We indicated to your mother through inspiration: 38 “That, ‘Put him into a chest and cast it into the river, so the river shall deposit it on to a shore – therefore one who is an enemy to Me and you, shall pick him up’; and I bestowed upon you love from Myself; and for you to be brought up in My sight.” 39 Your sister went (to them) and said: 'Shall I guide you to one who will nurse him' And so We restored you to your mother, so that her eyes might rejoice and that she might not sorrow. And when you killed a soul We saved you from grief and then We tried you with many trials. You stayed among the people of Midian for a number of years, and then, Moses, you came here according to a decree. 40 “And I created you especially for Myself.” 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs and do not slacken in My remembrance. 42 Go both to Firon, surely he has become inordinate; 43 And speak unto him a gentle word, that peradventure he may heed or fear. 44 Both said: O our Lord! Surely we fear that he may hasten to do evil to us or that he may become inordinate. 45 He replied: 'Have no fear I shall be with you, both hearing and seeing. 46 So go you both to Pharaoh, and say, "We are the Messengers of thy Lord, so send forth with us the Children of Israel and chastise them not; we have brought thee a sign from thy Lord; and peace be upon him who follows the guidance! 47 'Truly, it has been revealed to us that the torment will be for him who denies [believes not in the Oneness of Allah, and in His Messengers, etc.], and turns away.'(from the truth and obedience of Allah)" 48 He (Pharaoh) said: 'Moses, who is the Lord of you both' 49 They replied, "Our Lord is the One Who has created all things and has given guidance". 50 [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said: "What about the generations of old?" 51 He (Moses) answered: 'The knowledge of them is in a Book with My Lord. My Lord neither goes astray, nor forgets. 52 Who made the earth for you an expanse and made for you therein paths and sent down water from the cloud; then thereby We have brought forth many species of various herbs. 53 To eat and feed your cattle. Surely there are signs in these for those who are wise. 54
