And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 Indeed, we were promised this - we and our forefathers - in the past as well; it is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 68 Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals." 69 And grieve not for them and be not distressed because of what they plan. 70 They ask, "When the Day of Judgment will come, if it is true at all?" 71 Say: "The chastisement whose hastening you have been asking for, maybe a part of it has drawn quite near to you." 72 "Verily, your Lord is full of Grace for mankind, yet most of them do not give thanks." 73 Verily your Lord knows what lies hidden in their breasts and what they disclose. 74 There is not a thing hidden in the heaven and earth except that it is in a Clear Book. 75 Indeed, this Qur'an relates to the Children of Israel most of that over which they disagree. 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 Verily, your Lord will decide between them (various sects) by His Judgement. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing. 78 So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. 79 You cannot make the dead to listen, or the deaf to hear the call, when they have turned their backs, 80 Nor can you lead the blind when they have gone astray. You can make none hear except those who believe in Our signs and have come to peace and submission. 81 ۞ And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith]. 82
