Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
