۞ Tell them, (O Prophet): “My servants who have committed excesses against themselves, do not despair of Allah's Mercy. Surely Allah forgives all sins. He is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. 53 And return to your Lord time after time and submit to Him before there comes to you the punishment, then you shall not be helped. 54 And follow the best of what was revealed to you from your Lord before the punishment comes upon you suddenly while you do not perceive, 55 lest any human being should say [on Judgment Day,] "Alas for me for having been remiss in what is due to God, and for having been indeed one of those who scoffed [at the truth]!" 56 Or should say: If Allah had but guided me I should have been among the dutiful! 57 "Or (lest) it should say when it (actually) sees the penalty: 'If only I had another chance, I should certainly be among those who do good!' 58 But yes, there had come to you My verses, but you denied them and were arrogant, and you were among the disbelievers. 59 On the Day of Judgment wilt thou see those who told lies against Allah;- their faces will be turned black; Is there not in Hell an abode for the Haughty? 60 But as for the God-fearing, Allah will deliver them on account of their achievements: no harm shall visit them nor shall they grieve. 61 God is the Creator and Guardian of all things. 62 His are the keys of the heavens and the earth, and they who disbelieve the revelations of Allah - such are they who are the losers. 63
