Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And does not urge (others) to feed the poor. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 Those who are neglectful of their prayer. 5 Those who make show [of their deeds] 6 And do not let others ask for small utilities. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
