3/4 Hizb 37
< random >
۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
